This site is published on a non-professional basis by a private individual. As allowed by article 6-III-2 of French law no. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 (LCEN), the publisher has given their identity to the hosting provider and does not publish it. You can reach them contact@directmeteo.eu.

Third-party content and data

• Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) provides the forecasts, under the CC BY 4.0 licence. OUR server queries it, never your browser: Open-Meteo does not see your address.
• MeteoAlarm (meteoalarm.org, the joint service of Europe's national weather services) provides the official warnings, issued by the country's own service. OUR server queries it, never your browser. This site is not an official source: the information may be late or incomplete, and the official source prevails.
• IGN (Admin Express, Open Licence) provides the outlines of the French départements on the warning map. They are drawn by OUR server: no image is loaded elsewhere.
• OpenStreetMap (openstreetmap.org, ODbL data, © the contributors) draws the map. Your browser loads it directly from openstreetmap.org, which then receives your IP address as for any image from a third-party site; we send it no information about you.
• Nominatim (nominatim.openstreetmap.org, a service of the OpenStreetMap Foundation) names the place you are in when you choose “My location”. Our server queries it, with coordinates rounded to about one kilometre, never your browser.
• Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited) loads its ad script in your browser, which then passes it your IP address. See “Advertising” below.
• The texts and code of this site are the work of its publisher. Third-party data and maps remain under their own licences.

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). What this means for your data is described in the privacy policy.

The forecasts and warnings it shows come from third parties: they may be inaccurate, late or unavailable, and the publisher guarantees neither their accuracy nor the continuity of the service. For any decision affecting the safety of people or property, refer to your country's official weather service and to the instructions of the authorities.
